As coronavirus is hitting the world hard and people are busy fighting against it, a group of deaf children sing together for people who work at the frontline for their countries.
To show their love and gratitude to people who work frontline, 11 deaf children who are currently attending auditory-verbal sessions at Children’s Hearing Foundation (CHF) sang the song Tomorrow will be Better and recorded a video. The video went viral, more than 130,000 people were moved it .
The video received tons of positive feedback. “Tomorrow will be better, we shall never give up!” “These children are so talented!” “No matter how many times I listen to it, I am moved by their voices, they are so adorable and talented.” According to CHF, these children are only 3-11 years old and were unfamiliar with the song. They had to listen to the song many times and memorize the lyrics through Zhuyin and images. Without a recording studio, equipment and professional teachers, these children used their own voices to spread the love and warmth to the public.
Moreover, Ke-Yu, a 16 years old deaf teenager who has Asperger syndrome, created a new song Music Atomic bomb while quarantine at home. He was inspired by Joanna, the founder of CHF, and wanted to show his gratitude and respect to the people who work at the frontline.
Children with hearing loss learn to listen and speak through auditory-verbal approach, they’ve been receiving much love and support from the public. As the world is getting through hard times, they want to show their gratitude and love to the public, and they always believe that tomorrow will be better!
