Summary:
The third Spreading Good Award ceremony was held on November 23, 2017. The award ceremony was hosted by the Y.T. and Iris Chen Charitable Trust and co-organized by United Way Taiwan. Eight nonprofit organizations, including Children’s Hearing Foundation, received awards this year. The Spreading Good Award supports mid-sized nonprofits in Taiwan with a three-year grant of 12 million NTD (approximately 0.4 million USD) for implementing innovative programs and providing better services. Each year, mid-sized charitable organizations go through two rounds of rigorous review by third-party judges and eight organizations are awarded.
