The Children’s Hearing Foundation (hereinafter referred to CHF), which has been devoted to supporting children with hearing loss learn to listen and speak, released their charity single “Happy Paradise” eight years ago and touched millions of hearts. “Happy Children, Happy Singing ” was released this year by a new generation of singers with hearing loss. Superstars of the children’s world – Brother Banana and Sister Strawberry were charity ambassadors who sang and danced with the 11 little singers with hearing loss to welcoming the joy of music.
The single “Happy Children, Happy Singing” took a year in preparation. The little singers were selected from audition in the CHF. They had been trained intensively for singing and dancing, and then recorded the single and music video at the studio. Even facing the challenges of COVID-19 pandemic during the preparation period, none of the children opted out and still held on to their dreams of being a singer. Because being able to express their unique voice and sing their stories is a very happy thing for all children with hearing loss.
Children with hearing loss sang not only their passion of life, but also their confidence of “ready to shine”. They showed liveliness with their unique voice. The CHF especially recorded the journey of how the little singers’ dreams came true to release the single. The process was filled with tears and laughter in showing the children’s desire to dream! And their dreams have also been supported by caring companies, such as Mega City, MedFirst, Taiwan Mobile, and Wind Music, etc. Through this song, we hope that people from all walks of life may see the infinite potential of children with hearing loss and also raise public awareness for the understanding and attention for children with hearing loss.
